I stumbled into UX design like a lost puppy. No mentor. No network. Just me, my crippling self-doubt, and a free Figma account. I literally Googled "how to make apps not ugly" and fell down a rabbit hole of design thinking, user empathy, and way too much Behance scrolling.
Fast-forward two years of eating ramen for dinner and crying over Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, and—boom—I landed my first real client. A startup that paid me in exposure and cold, hard stock options (which, surprise, were worthless). But hey, I was hooked.
