Fast forward to the now: my designs have made it to Paris fashion week (yes, algae-based sequins are a thing!) and my startup is literally turning ocean trash into couture. But the glam? That's just skin deep. The grit? Well, let's just say, there were 3 am breakdowns, "I can't afford the rent" panic attacks, and my hottest moment—selling my vintage Chanel bag in order to fund a prototype. (No regrets. Well, maybe one.) 💔
