Yes, a classic super position of emotions. Spoiler: He's not even a whole chapter in my dissertation "Entanglement Decoherence in Human Connections."
We met in a hole-in-the-wall dive bar (the kind that is a grocery in the daylight), him a blockchain bro who thought he was a feminist knight, me three whiskeys deep ranting about quantum supremacy. He called me "intimidatingly brilliant", I called him "cute for a guy who thinks NFTs are science". So, this lasted... 3.5 months, the half-life of my patience for bullshit.
