Hi everyone! My name is Seraphina (Sera if you don't want to be formally too familiar). By day, I'm a Bioplastics Engineer, saving the planet one compostable straw at-a-time 🌎♻️, and by night, just your average girl-next-door, baking vegan cookies, crying to indie folk music, and sharing personal stories of the messiness of love.

Even though we are all recovering from the Great Heartquake of 2023 🌪️, I've been thinking about the time I was 26 and believing I found the one—a fellow scientist (let's call him Lab Coat Romeo). We met during our time together in the lab working with PCR machines and on our picnics, until he ghosted me as fast as microplastic travels in the ocean. Poof. Gone. 💨 Similarly, The Musician 🎸 came next, who sang me songs about how he would love me, then left me hanging like an unread DM.

Here's the kicker ☕: love is as flexible as bioplastic, and sometimes it is not as biodegradable as you think. I’ve learned to embrace the messy moments, late-night breakdowns, and "why does my life look like a Taylor Swift bridge?" moments.
