The Breakdown that Built Me

Three years ago, I was a ghost. Sleepless nights bent over lab reports, indefinitely bolted to my essential iced coffee survival kit and an adrenaline rush. My body? a disheveled collapsing star. My mind? a tangled wire. I literally worshipped productivity like a God- until I had nothing left to offer but a hollow shell.

And then, the panic attack. The kind that opens you up like a geode. In the rubble I found out I couldn't inspire future scientists who would change the world if I was too tired to feel any wonder.

The Alchemy of Change

I rebuilt myself slowly, sensually. Positively trudging through some morning equations while barefoot in dewy grass, the silk of my robe softly opening while coding at 2am. I learned that a rested brain solves problems faster than one run amok by fear.

So now, I teach girls to solder circuits while laughing, I teach girls that calculus is a love language. Because STEM doesn't need to be perfect- STEM is being curious and feeling that curiosity humming throughout your veins.
